Kubotek announces the availability of the service pack release KeyCreator 9.0.3 for customers with active maintenance.

Marlborough, Mass., - Kubotek announces the availability of the service pack release KeyCreator 9.0.3 for customers with active maintenance. The 9.0.3 downloads are available now from the Kubotek support area. 

Issues Corrected 

Approximately two dozen issues have been corrected in the 9.0.3 Service Pack release for KeyCreator 9.0. To check which version is currently installed use the Help>About function in the KeyCreator pull-down menu.

The Service Pack release 9.0.3 includes the 3D CAD data translator for Parasolid 22.  

 Downloading KeyCreator 9.0.3

Start by logging into the support area. The SUPPORT button is in the far right of the top menu of the Kubotek home page. Once logged in, select the DOWNLOADS option in menu on the left.

 Option 1, Program – 238 MB Full Install (352 MB for SV version)

The KeyCreator Full Install Version 9.0.3 can not be installed if 9.0.0 has already been installed on the PC. The previous version 9.0 program must be removed before using the Full Install (Use Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs).

 Option 2, Service Pack – 55 MB Patch

The KeyCreator Service Pack Version 9.0.3 will convert a KeyCreator 9.0 installation into a 9.0.3 installation. Note the 9.0.3 patch can only patch KeyCreator 9.0 and cannot be applied to previous versions (such as V8.0, V7.5.3 or any other release).

 Additional Notes

¨      Depending on the license level numbers of an existing license (check Help About from KeyCreator menu), 9.0.3 may run using the same license file as the previous 8.0.x and 8.5 releases. If the existing license level is 10.03 (read as March 2010) or older a new license will need to be obtained by logging into your Kubotek account.  

¨      V9.0.3 does not represent a CKD file format change from the V9.0 release. However, V9.0 products do use a new format from the 8.5, 8.0, and earlier versions. Earlier versions of KeyCreator will not read V9.0.x CKD files.
