KUBOTEK SPECTRUM STANDS OUT AS FREE CAD TOOL
Ready for Download: Kubotek USA Pumps Up Popular MultiCAD Viewer

Marlborough, MA - June 13, 2006 - Kubotek® USA today announced the immediate availability of its third major new release of Kubotek SpectrumT, a free downloadable software tool designed to provide quick access to design data stored in the most popular computer-aided design (CAD) formats, including AutoCAD, CADKEY, CATIA, Inventor, KeyCreator, Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, UGS NX and more. Several new file formats have been added to this new release, plus ease of use and view manipulation enhancements.

Since introduced in May 2005, over ten thousand engineering, design, and manufacturing professionals have downloaded Kubotek Spectrum to access detailed CAD data, improve the inter-departmental and supply chain communications flow, and speed products to market. Smooth Sailing as the Latest File Formats Keep Coming
The newest release of Kubotek Spectrum offers support for a number of additional file formats, including the latest versions of ACIS SAT, SolidWorks and UG NX (a detailed list is provided below). Added viewer functionality now enables engineering, design and manufacturing professionals working with legacy and scanned drawing files to open, view and print raster image files (TIF, JPG, GIF, BMP and DIB.) This release also provides significant new mouse-driven capabilities to ease and speed viewport manipulation, and includes support for Logitech 3Dconnexion 3D input devices.
