KUBOTEK USA NAMES JAMES GORDON PRINCIPAL ENGINEER
Software Development and Product Planning Expert to Help Lead KeyCreator Modeling Team and Further the CADKEY Heritage of Innovation

Marlboro, MA - September 22, 2004 - Kubotek USA today announced the appointment of James Gordon as principal engineer. Gordon was formerly vice president and chief architect of ACIS, Spatial Corporation's popular three dimensional (3D) modeling development technology. In this capacity, Gordon exercised both technical expertise and a keen business sense in researching industry trends and prototyping new modeling features.

Gordon will draw on nearly 20 years of experience in CAD/CAM software development as he joins the Kubotek KeyCreatorTM (formerly CADKEY) geometric modeling team. This includes eight years at Spatial in a wide range of roles, from chief architect to vice president of Development, and eight years at Unigraphics Solutions. His goals at Kubotek are focused on furthering technical innovation, and on supporting the company's goal of becoming the leading design and manufacturing software solution provider.
