KUBOTEK USA EVENTS DRAW HUNDREDS OF ENTHUSIASTIC ATTENDEES
Meetings with CADKEY Parent Company Elicit Approval from Long-Time Customers and New Prospects Alike
Marlborough, MA - October 1, 2004 - Both customers and prospects are impressed with the "CADKEY Evolution Tour" events. The first of the free events took place at the New England Air Museum at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut and the Sheraton Bucks County in Langhorne, PA last week, where more than one hundred attendees talked to the company's senior management team. This week the Kubotek USA management team has taken the tour to Toronto and Detroit where customers showed equal enthusiasm.
The tour is designed to introduce CADKEY customers to KeyCreatorT design and manufacturing software -- the evolution of CADKEY-- and to demonstrate its ease-of-use, as well as give customers and prospects the opportunity to talk directly with the company's management team and discuss Kubotek's vision for the future.
The next stops on the tour are in Wisconsin and Minnesota on October 5 and October 7 respectively. Free registration for specific dates is still available online at promo.kubotekusa.com/roadshow. Attendees are receiving a free trial version of the software as well as two hours of complimentary hands-on training by "Doc" Walt Silva, author of more than 30 books on CAD software. In addition, one attendee at each event wins an HP Pavilion notebook PC.
"That so many customers have decided to take time out of their very busy work days to come and talk with us and share their experiences demonstrates just how important a productivity tool like KeyCreator is to their businesses," said Robert Bean, chief operating officer, Kubotek USA. "Many of these are smaller companies, so being out of the office has to be an investment in future success."
New as well as long-time customers are attending the events to hear about the upcoming new version of KeyCreator and the company's plans for the future. "The CADKEY Evolution Tour was well worth attending, particularly from a technical point of view," said Jim Fleming, Ken Kat Corp. "Doc Walt is a terrific resource for both experienced customers and for getting new users up and running. There is a strong community of KeyCreator users, and I think that we all came away with very positive feelings about the future of Kubotek USA and the KeyCreator product."
"I've been a CADKEY user since version 3 and I'm impressed with the evolution of the product to KeyCreator and the new direction of the company," agreed David Karu, draftsman, Atmos-Tech Industries from Ocean, NJ and an attendee at the Pennsylvania event.
John Boath, a project engineer for RRT Design, LLC said, "I thought it was well worth attending. I have been a CADKEY user since 1984 and it has been tough to remain a loyal user the last few years, but I must say I think the current team under Kubotek is about as focused and enthusiastic as you could ask for...(and) if you have never met Doctor Walt, he's a lot of fun to listen to."
Kubotek KeyCreator builds on the heritage of CADKEY, the first true 3D MCAD software for the desktop. KeyCreator combines both the latest in geometry-based design and modeling technology, with a legacy of success in helping customers in the design of tooling, complex machinery, fixtures, molds, dies and a multitude of product development industries including automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, sports equipment, medical device and many more.
The KeyCreator creation engineering product line includes multidimensional design and drafting, NC programming and reverse engineering capabilities. The product line features the company's unique geometry-based foundation with localized feature editing and sophisticated deformation techniques designed to help users do their work faster. These capabilities are particularly useful for design teams working with advanced designs of solid models because KeyCreator blends surface, solids and wire frame modeling allowing easy modification and editing functionality.
