Tony Anderson of Kubotek USA to present at Global Product Data Interoperability Summit (GPDIS)

Marlborough, Mass., – Tony Anderson, Sales Manager, North America for Kubotek USA will be presenting technology from Kubotek USA at the GPDIS conference on Nov 8-10 in Chandler Arizona. The subject is Using Automated Change Management Software to Improve Productivity and Reduce Costs. The presentation will focus on the continual changes in the design process and the common problem of determining what data changed and how.  Additionally, suppliers and internal teams often receive the updated data as a new revision and are tasked with updating their portion of the process with minimally defined change information.  This problem is compounded as multiple teams repeatedly search for changes that are relevant to their process. From small changes in part tolerance annotations to changes in large assemblies, these inefficiencies in product data communication cause an increase in scrap rates in tooling and production parts and lead to program delays.

This presentation will present strategies to identify, analyze and communicate change in an OEM-Supplier ecosystem. Examples will show how to streamline change management to realize significant productivity and quality improvements for companies using 3D data as a basis for engineering their products.
