Overview:

Course Material will concentrate on the following core technologies and improvements to KeyCreator:

  • User interface changes/enhancements, on-line help
  • Basics of 3D Design Review – Cplanes, World Coordinates, Views, 3D/2D
  • Face Logic tools
  • Sketch based solids design
  • Face editing
  • Feature and pattern recognition
  • Direct Dimension Editing tools
  • Prune & Graft technology
  • Assemblies, mating and management
  • Layout and detailing updates

The course focus is on the areas that will offer the most productivity for your projects. Hands-on lab work on KeyCreator will help design engineers optimize KeyCreator’s advanced new open3D technology, techniques & best practices and will use customer parts & work flow wherever possible. The class assumes a basic level knowledge of 2D proficiency from those attending the class. Hardcopy and Electronic manuals and files will be provided.

KeyCreator Solids/Hybrid Modeling
(2 Day Course)

 

Hybrid solid modeling is a strength of KeyCreator. Once a basic knowledge of the software has been achieved, the natural progression would be to become familiar with solid/hybrid modeling techniques in order to use KeyCreator as effectively as possible for your design needs. This course is great for those that are familiar with KeyCreator, but, are not fully comfortable with 3D solid/hybrid modeling.

Prerequisite: KeyCreator Basic or a thorough understanding of KeyCreator software

KeyCreator Basic Course
(3 Day Course)

 

This course is designed for engineers, designers, and manufacturing personnel with no prior experience in the use of KeyCreator software. Topics covered include, the user interface, standard file formats, coordinate systems, views and construction planes, basic geometry creation and editing, detailing, and an introduction to 3D space. Upon successful completion of this course, the attendee will be able to effectively utilize KeyCreator as a design tool and will be prepared to continue with solid/hybrid modeling instruction.

At Kubotek USA, Marlborough, MA - $500 per day plus $ 500 per person/per day    

At customer site - $750 per day, plus $500 per person/per day, plus expenses




 
CADKEY to KeyCreator Transition
(1 Day Course)

Design for engineers, designers and manufacturing professionals with prior experience in CADKEY19 or earlier.  Exercises and instruction are geared toward helping the attendee to get the most out of their seat of KeyCreator by pointing out new, time saving enhancements that have been made to the software. This course will contrast the differences between CADKEY and KeyCreator and is a must anyone who has recently upgraded to KeyCreator or would like to learn how to take advantage of the new technology in the product.
